  • A Mother reaching out for its newborn Foal.

A Lover reaching out for its injured mate.

A Grandparent reaching out to keep a grandchild from falling.

These are the very definitions of the highest form of love. Selfless Love.

It is also the beginning of a pendulum… the shift to a new generation, or the change of one saving another only to be saved themselves down the line. This "Pendulum" will shift again, and again, and again.

Far from being a reminder of the limits of time, it rather a beautiful exception to those limits.

It is the love that we give which is eternal, that makes our tangible form meaningless. That love lives on endlessly, and in that way we too live endlessly. Our most beautiful selves inheriting new forms of life.

Galileo first referenced the concept of a Pendulum in 1583, yet it took four generations [1656] before a Dutch mathematician Christian Huygeens invented a clock derived from its movements… four generations, four swings of the Pendulum.

Out love is indeed timeless, and lives on, and on, forever.
